Maybe strange to put these together but remember an income source is a key part of sustainability unless you can get a small farm to commercially viable or at least net zero cost to live. And even then you still need some source of small income.

Animals bread. 5 cows and strong fences solves food for a few years, along with some fruit trees and ground crops or raised bed gardens. Add chickens for eggs, a solar system for electricity and an electric car. Starlink mobile unit and a cell hotspot with $100 cell booster, and a Ham radio and you are pretty much independent. Food, energy, water, transport, caretaker to run errands, neighboring farms for group security. Try to get near to net zero cost to live, so you wont need a lot of resources if the banks go down. Rent your city apartment for cash and live on the farm.
If you choose to relocate to a different country, choose a location land and taxes are cheap, community isnt nosey but sticks together and ideally a cash heavy place where digital IDs will be less important than community sharing and trading, rules are treated as guidelines and enforcement is practical and common sense not exhaustive.

If possible keep enough resources to relocate again quickly if ever needed
Evaluate any luxuries, reduce cost of living to base.
Know where the clean food and water is, and how to differentiate.
Keep a food and water store at least 2 months, with water filter, even if you are in an apartment. Prioritize it
Keep $10k cash and tradable assets on hand at all times and $50k more where you can get it converted to multiple forms quickly.
Watch the news, the alternative news and understand the trends. Watch for signs the net is tightening, and events are getting to a critical point. If you suspect yes - take a week long vacation somewhere safe while you watch and eveluate
Get personal data and encyclapedia and perhaps one offline LLM out of the cloud and onto a hard drive or sd card. I carry a 1T card in my cellphone 2nd sim slot.
